  • The 57SEQ MK-I PRO follows the 57UYO approach: practical DIY design, adjustable feel, and readily available hardware—built to be printed, assembled, and made your own.

Available exclusively to PRO tier members, this version adds a neutral gear lever to the standard 57SEQ MK-I. It’s a small extra as a thank-you for the additional support that helps keep 57UYO projects moving forward.

Both versions share the same core mechanism and latest upgrades, including the improved roller design for more stable operation with stiffer springs.

    Features

    • Full-size sequential shifter with a two-stage action: higher initial resistance followed by a distinct release toward the end stop.

    • Adjustable shift resistance by changing springs.

    • Customizable cam plate to tune travel, release point, and resistance.

    • Improved roller design for stable operation with stronger springs.

    • Quiet operation, with printed components helping keep noise down for shared spaces.

    • Solid construction using large M8 flanged ball bearings and a 3030 aluminum profile.

    • Flexible mounting for sim rigs and desk brackets.

    • Affordable, readily available hardware for the non-printed components.

    • M8 knob mounting, compatible with aftermarket knobs that use the matching thread.

    • Three handle options: a small handle, a longer and thicker large handle, and an adapter for standard MTB grips.

    • Brass guides for the spring rod, improving stability and smoothness while minimizing play around the center position.

    • PRO addition: neutral gear lever.

Print it. Build it. Tune it to your rig.

  • Pats list:

N.B. - Prices are with VAT and Shipping as I ordered at the time the project was published. Some items i bought in bulk, so % of actually needed parts was adjusted to give you idea of the final price of the non-printed parts needed for this project.

    Machining:

Tap the profiles sides with M8 thread if you are going to use the side mounts.

The main spring guide should be threaded to 52mm length with M6 tap. This is easily achievable by hand using vise.

    Print Settings:

Use more than 5 walls, 25% Gyroid infill, 0.2 layer. PETG for stability, PLA will also work. Parts oriented in the way that should be printed. Only parts needing support are the side mounts and microswitch holders.

    For best results I ended up using PLA+ (Sunlu PLA+ 2.0), 9 walls/bottom/top, 45% Gyroid infill.
