  • The 57HB MK-II Pro was needed counterpart to the 57SEQ Pro shifter so no I present it to you - finally you can make yourself good Drift/Rally combo, that feels premium but is quite reasonably priced.

    Main Features:

    • Two stage spring
    • One way adjustable damper to simulate real hydraulic handbrake feel
    • Hall sensor based for easier interface with DIY controllers or directly on some wheelbases
    • Handle can be mounted both vertically and horizontally
    • Angle of handle is widely adjustable
    • Two magnets ensure you are getting detailed positional readout from the 49E sensor
    • You can mix and match spring to tailor the double stage feel
    • Strong construction, should be capable of supporting all compression spring colors if you prefer stiffer handbrake
    • All pivots are with oversized ball bearings
    • Three different handles - Small, Large (both longer and thicker) and adapter for standard MTB Grips
    • Can be bottom or top mounted (top mount for the backend spring pivot plate was not tested!)
    • Easy and cheap to build
    • Version without damper included in the files, but I cannot imagine why somebody would like to build one that way ;)

N.B. - Prices are with VAT and Shipping as I ordered at the time the project was published. Some items i bought in bulk, so % of actually needed parts was adjusted to give you idea of the final price of the non-printed parts needed for this project.

    Print Settings:

Use more than 5 walls, 25% Gyroid infill, 0.2 layer. PETG for stability, PLA will also work. Parts oriented in the way that should be printed. Only parts needing support are the side mounts and microswitch holders.

    For best results I ended up using PLA+ (Sunlu PLA+ 2.0), 9 walls/bottom/top, 45% Gyroid infill.
